Air-Gapped Privacy

100% Offline Local LLMs (Ollama)

Published: September 30, 2026 · Documentation

Why Run Locally?

For defense contractors, healthcare administrators, legal professionals, and privacy enthusiasts, sending personal resumes or internal form data over the internet is unacceptable.

FastFiller natively supports Ollama running on http://localhost:11434. When configured, zero network packets leave your computer. Form parsing, field comprehension, and value injection happen 100% locally on your machine's CPU/GPU.

3-Step Local Setup Guide

1 Install Ollama

Download and install Ollama from ollama.com for macOS, Windows, or Linux.

2 Enable Chrome Extension CORS & Run a Model

Because Chrome extensions run under origin chrome-extension://..., configure Ollama to accept extension requests:

# On Windows PowerShell:
$env:OLLAMA_ORIGINS="*" ; ollama serve
# On macOS / Linux Terminal:
OLLAMA_ORIGINS="*" ollama serve

Then pull a recommended form-filling model: ollama run llama3.2 or ollama run qwen2.5:7b.

3 Select Ollama in FastFiller

Open FastFiller settings, switch the provider preset to Ollama (Local), and verify the connection. All form autofills will execute locally in seconds.
